Kerry Logistics Network Limited (‘Kerry Logistics’; Stock Code 636.HK), a leading logistics service provider in Asia, has been honoured with the Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards 2015, jointly presented by The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy, Hong Kong Baptist University.

The Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards (the “Awards”), inaugurated in 2007, are designed to promote and highlight excellence in corporate governance practices of Hong Kong listed companies. Winners went through rigorous selection to demonstrate their outstanding commitments to nine key aspects, namely shareholder rights, compliance, integrity, fairness, responsibility, accountability, transparency, board independence & leadership, and corporate social responsibility. Special attention was given to companies that showcased innovation and significant improvements in corporate governance and/or sustainability made over the last three years.

This year’s judging panel of leading experts from the fields of regulation, financial, investment, accounting, legal and academic praised Kerry Logistics for its “world-class aspiration of achieving good corporate governance”. They also highlighted how Kerry Logistics’ diligent and disciplined board “reflected the company’s determination to have top calibre people with the right professional background leading its business”.
