Kerry Logistics Network Limited (‘Kerry Logistics’; Stock Code 636.HK), a leading logistics service provider in Asia, has won the Maritime Logistics Award at the 8th Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia 2015 (the ‘Awards’) held on 16 November 2015 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Maritime Logistics Award is a newly introduced competitive category, making Kerry Logistics the first company to win the award.

Comprised of 12 award categories, the Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia recognises and rewards outstanding performance of accomplished individuals and companies from the maritime industry while the newly added Maritime Logistics Award acknowledges companies with excellent achievements in productivity improvements, level of value-added services and business profitability.

Under the One Belt, One Road initiative, Kerry Logistics will leverage on Hong Kong’s position as a shipping hub to develop on the existing maritime infrastructure, enhancing its ocean freight services and connectivity within the region. Kerry Logistics has the ambition to become a major logistics provider for the new Silk Road, both over land and maritime.
