KLN continues to strengthen our strategic partnerships with social enterprises and charities and contributed to regional outreach initiatives.
We underline in our logistics expertise by supporting the HKSAR government’s departments with humanitarian aid projects, which includes building the entire logistics process, designing systems and workflows, shipping equipment, and managing and maintaining that equipment. If there is any emergency, KLN will support the shipment of equipment to Hong Kong Airport and overseas for emergency deliveries. After Myanmar earthquake, KLN has supported the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Fire Services Department in warehousing, outbound logistics of rescue equipment and relief supplies to air freight and on-the-ground support in Myanmar at first moment. We will also collaborate with the international teams on overseas aid missions.
We collaborate with NGOs worldwide to support young people, rural students, and orphaned children through donations and charity events. For instance, we participated in UNICEF WONDERUN 2024 to raise awareness of children rights. Additionally, KLN focused on supporting young employees by offering summer internships, job opportunities, and paid leave for their educational development.
KLN is committed to providing the best of our help to people in need. In Singapore, we offer free relocation services to underprivileged citizens. To encourage social integration, we actively held engagement events for underprovided and conducting training and upskilling workshops for ex-offenders, providing opportunities to enrich their income and contributing to rehabilitation.
KLN recognizes the importance of engaging with the elderly through ongoing care and support. We offer workshops and facility assistance while emphasizing empowerment by providing consultancy and advisory roles for seniors, helping to supplement their incomes.
KLN connects community contribution with sustainable development through awareness cultivation and practical initiatives. We partnered with Eco-Greenergy to recycle coffee grounds, and 2.04 tons of coffee grounds have been collected since the program launched in 2022. We also sponsored the 31st Green Power Hike and reinforced the ‘Leave No Trace’ principle, inspiring individuals to take an active role in protecting our planet for future generations.
