Kerry Logistics, a leading logistics service provider in Asia, has started building a new 11,000 sq. m. warehouse in the Song Thang area of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Once completed in the first quarter of 2013, Kerry Logistics will have a total of nine warehouses with a total capacity of 62,000 sq. m. in Song Thang to meet growing demand for storage space from customers.

“We have been building our network of warehouses across Vietnam and now have extensive coverage in the north, central and southern regions of the country. In Song Thang, a major centre for freight and logistics services, we have built significant capacity to meet growing local demand for quality warehouse space,” said Rosa Du, General Director of Vietnam.

Kerry Logistics is continuing its expansion in Vietnam, following the opening of a logistics centre in Hanoi in 2011. The 10,000 sq.m facility focuses on providing a broad range of logistics services for the electronics and hi-tech, fashion and garments, food and beverage, and industrial sectors.

The company also opened its 9,000 sq.m. of Danang facility in Central Vietnam in 2010.
