In Hong Kong: Over 100 colleagues from various business units joined Mega Challenge 2025, an immersive team-building programme designed to foster cross-functional collaboration, enhance communication and problem-solving skills, and strengthen trust. Through a mix of physical challenges, mental puzzles and coordinated team tasks, participants discovered new strengths, sharpened their communication and problem-solving skills, and built deeper trust with one another.

In Chinese Mainland: WE KARE launched a series of sports initiatives to promote physical well-being and team spirit across the business. KLN participated in a football league organised by Southwest University of Science and Technology, fostering fitness, camaraderie, and industry–academia engagement. Over 80 colleagues joined a badminton tournament, strengthening teamwork through friendly competitions. Sports days were also held across sites, encouraging active lifestyles, stronger connections, and an inclusive culture of well-being.

In Mexico: KLN team conducted a comprehensive training programme focused on health care and emergency preparedness. The sessions combined practical exercises with awareness‑building activities to strengthen staff resilience and safety skills. Employees prepared family emergency plans and backpacks, practiced earthquake drills and evacuation routes, and learned quick‑response techniques such as unclogging at home. The training also addressed road safety, with staff experiencing the effects of impaired perception through simulation lenses that mimic alcohol’s impact on reaction time.

In Hong Kong: KLN hosted the Diversity Marketplace in Hong Kong, showcasing our commitment to diversity and inclusive workplace. The event brought together KLN staff and social enterprises to celebrate multicultural talent and create a visible platform for social partnership and supplier engagement. Local social enterprises led by elderly, women, youth, and minority ethnic groups were invited to present their featured products, demonstrating the creativity and value of diverse communities. The event showcased multicultural food and crafts, including Nepalese cuisine, traditional pastries, and sustainable products.

In South Africa: KLN’s South Africa office proudly joined the nation in marking National Women’s Day, recognising the remarkable achievements of women in the freight industry. The celebration highlighted the valuable contributions of female colleagues who continue to break barriers and drive innovation in the sector. The event provided a meaningful platform for colleagues to come together, share experiences, and honour the resilience and leadership of women shaping the future of logistics.

We expanded flexible learning to make development more accessible and inclusive. Our “Sip & Succeed” workshops were converted into on-demand e-learning modules to increase reach and participation, while the Personal Excellence series – including Mandarin for Expat – delivers practical skills that support career progression. Beverage-themed workshops on coffee, Chinese tea, and wine, where staff build networking capabilities, explore cultural insights and beverage knowledge, and gain useful professional tips. All programmes are designed to be culturally inclusive and accessible. We regularly review content and delivery methods to remove barriers, promote equal opportunity and ensure colleagues from diverse backgrounds can fully participate and benefit.

Facing rising operational demands and expansion needs, KLN continues to proactively strengthen its talent recruitment and development efforts. In 2025, we recruited eight Management Trainees under the Young Executives Academy (YEA), with participants from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Venezuela, Sri Lanka, and India.

KLN addressed frontline staffing shortages by joining Hong Kong’s Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme, enabling efficient recruitment while maintaining service quality standards, and collaborated with the local universities to offer internships. In Singapore, KLN has partnered with a local technical institute to offer a work study diploma programme.
