On 17 October, Kerry Logistics, a leading logistics service provider in Asia, claimed the prestigious title of ‘Regional Freight Forwarder of the Year’ at the Payload Asia Awards 2013 in Singapore.

William Ma, Managing Director of Kerry Logistics Network Limited remarked: “This is a significant award for Kerry Logistics. We have grown to more than 400 service locations in 35 countries and territories, backed by a large agency network across six continents. We provide the vast majority of our international freight forwarding services intra-Asia and between Asia and Europe to many multinational corporations. Through KART, we are also providing a cross-border road transportation network connecting ASEAN and China, leveraging our core competency in the customs brokerage and clearance areas. ”

In 2012 Kerry Logistics became the first Hong Kong logistics company to win the ‘Freight Forwarder of the Year’ international award despite strong competition from a group of finalists that included other leading global logistics companies.

This year’s award for ‘Regional Freight Forwarder of the Year’ award, Kerry Logistics had to satisfy the judges in a range of stringent criteria including demonstrating the company’s global network and coverage, growth and development strategy, operational performance in year 2012, customer service and product innovations.

The Payload Asia Awards are organised by Payload Asia Magazine, a recognised voice of the air freight industry in the Asia-Pacific region since 1985. This year, more than 30 corporations compete for the awards and winners were selected by a panel of distinguished judges comprising Asia’s leading supply chain academics, leaders and customers.
